Parent's Prayer:

Father,
Thank you for the joyful dancing you have for this family, Lord. I pray that in this day that all the old garments of mourning, grieving, fear, and anxiety over ____________'s situation will be cast off. I thank you that the Bible also says that you give a spirit of praise in place of the garment of heaviness (Isaiah 61:3). Remove the old garments from me and from ___________, Lord, and clothe us instead with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These are your promises for the fruit our lives will bear if we trust you (Galatians 5:22-23). Disability does not change the power of these promises, so clothe us all with new and fresh garments today!
