Parent's Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
In the midst of every trial we face in life, how good it is to know that we do not have to fear, but that we can face every situation with power and love and a sound mind. How we thank you, Lord, that you can give us the tools we need to overcome fear. Yet, Lord, there are times when we look at our situation and can become fearful concerning (name a few issues you may feel fear over, such as your child's future, finances, school/therapy, specific medical issues, behavioral problems, etc.). Lord, we ask that when fear or anxiety grips us, that you would minister to us in a deep way that would cause us to see the situation with a sound mind, and give us the ability to see your hand at work, even on the most difficult of days. Lord, we thank you that when we are feeling fearful, anxious, or uncertain that you will meet us where we are and minister your comfort and love to us, and that we would once again regain our hope for the future.

Family/Friend's Prayer:

In those times when we are walking along unfamiliar paths, how we praise you that you have promised to guide us. Lord, there are times when everything around us seems dark and we feel blind to the direction we should take. In times like that we trust you to do as you have promised by turning the darkness into light and making the rough place smooth before us. We thank you, Lord, that you have promised not to forsake us. We thank you that you will not forsake _____. Father, we pray for specific direction from you in dealing with (name any areas of frustration or concern you are facing). We pray that in this week, we would gain specific guidance and direction so that we can move ahead with confidence and victory. Praise you, Lord, for your marvelous works and your unending faithfulness!

We praise you, Father, for the mighty work of redemption you performed for us as you sent your only Son to die so that we might be saved, and to rise again so that we might know that you are a powerful God, mighty and capable of all things. We thank you, Lord, that Jesus is now sitting at your right hand and that He is the one who is making intercession for us before your throne. Father, we pause from the cares and worries of the day to worship you for all that you have done for us. We thank you for your might and power and for your deep love for us. We thank you for your glory. We thank you, Lord, that you have made a way for us, and that you will continue to make a way for us where there seems to be no way. Easter is a time to remember your resurrection power, and to declare that same power that rose Jesus from the dead is available to us today!
