Parent's Prayer:

Note: Today is World Down Syndrome Day. If you know of a family dealing with Down Syndrome, please consider praying especially for them today.

Dear Lord,
Thank you that, even in the midst of our own trials and circumstances, you remind us that it is good to look beyond ourselves to others who are struggling. Therefore, we take a moment today in order to pray for others we know who are dealing with disabilities in their families. Lord, we ask that you would rest powerfully on their homes today with provision for all they need. We ask for financial miracles, for healing breakthroughs, for mended relationships, and for your peace and comfort to hover over their homes. Give them a renewed strength for today. Calm any fears they have toward tomorrow. Assure them of your promise in Jeremiah 29:11 -- that you know the plans you have for them: plans to prosper them with hope and a good future! Help us to continue to remember to lift them in prayer even as others continue to lift us up.
