Parent's Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
How we acknowledge our deep dependence on you every day! We thank you that in the midst of circumstances that stretch us to the end of ourselves, you pour out greater measures of grace, peace, and mercy than we have ever known before. Thank you that in the midst of what feels like impossible situations, you have made a way through. And even in the midst of life's most trying times, you continue to pour out your blessings and provision to us. Lord, I ask that we would always recognize our acute need for you, and that we would always be able to see the great blessings you have showered upon us.

Dear God,
Frequently your Word tells us to fear not. Surely you would not say it so often if there was any reason for us to fear. Nor would you command it, if you could not keep us from fearing. You say, "fear not" for every difficult circumstance, for every disease, for every trial we face. But there are times when, in our own strength, it is extremely difficult to find our way through the fear coming against us. Therefore, Lord, I ask that you would help us at every point of fear we may have. Lord, I ask that you would replace our fear with love and with a sound mind. I ask that you would meet us where we are today with your peace and assurance. Thank you, Lord, that you have summoned us by name and that we are yours!

We pray that you would give us both courage and godly insight as we face (name a particular issue). We especially thank you for your concern for ______. We pray that you would continue to cause him/her to have great breakthrough in days ahead so that he/she could reach all the potential you have given him/her.
