Parent's Prayer:  

Dear Heavenly Father,
There are times when we, like Abraham, go through intense seasons of testing. We may not understand why you are requiring certain things of us. But just as Abraham was willing to sacrifice his beloved son, I pray that we would be able to walk in that level of obedience to you. Lord, you see the end of a season in ways that we cannot. You see how the testing and anguish that we face today will propel us into the fruitful and blessed future that you have for us. Help us to stay the course and to remember that, just as you did for Abraham, you will provide in ways that we could not have imagined. And, just like Abraham, we will come into a new day when you will bless us and will bless many through us. Thank you for your absolute unwavering commitment and love for us!
