Guilford County Schools

An exciting math contest is being run for Guilford County schools. 
 

It's free to take part and all students will get a fun participation reward!

 

Students compete by playing Sumdog's free online math games anytime between 8am on Friday February 14th and 8pm the following Thursday - it will only take an hour or so to get a competitive score.

Claude Monet At Their Fingertips: A Free Mobile App For Kids Interested in Art

 

The National Art Gallery has a free mobile app, "Your Art," that includes an art tour justfor kids. With the Kids Tour, young art lovers (ages 7-12) can tune in to learn about more than 50 of the world's greatest paintings. Kids can choose to hear interesting stories and details about works by such masters as Peter Paul Rubens, Edgar Degas, Claude Monet, and Winslow Homer.
