PTA LEADER UPDATE
A weekly bulletin from your Council PTA to keep you informed.
Greetings
This is the final week to submit your online S.P.I.C.E. Grant applications.  The deadline is Friday, October 18, 2013 at 11:59pm. We encourage all PTAs and PTSAs in good standing who are looking to engage families in their school to submit a proposal for up to $1000.

Please also remember that all PTAs and PTSAs in Guilford County make up the general membership of GCC of PTAs.  Part of being in good standing means submitting your council dues with your  membership form.  Share all the benefits of being a part of the council with your board of directors.

  • PTA Networking is this Tuesday!!  please register 
    • Elementary: 10am, GCS Board Room at Eugene St
    • Middle: 6pm, PTA room behind GCS building at Eugene St
    • High: 7pm, PTA room behind GCS building at Eugene St 
  • State and National membership dues are due by October 15th to receive your Blue Key Award from NCPTA and be entered in a drawing for $100 for your PTA - click here for your dues remittance form...make sure your treasurer is submitting dues by the 15th of each month    
  • Did you know October is National Principals Month?

  • November 12:  GCC of PTAs presents Social Media and Internet Tools     Training with special guest Eric Chilton from WFMY, Kernodle Middle School, 6-8pm Register Here 
  • November 15th: 990s are due
  • November 21st:  Reflections turn in to council
