Sorry for my brevity this Sunday, but I am sure I will be keeping things short and sweet going forward now that school starts tomorrow!
I hope everyone had wonderful open houses. This is the best time to start your membership campaigns. Be creative, welcoming and proud of your school! Build trust and more will want to join your efforts. Always remember this is all for our children!

- Register for PTA Training on Sept. 14th - registration is important for breakfast, lunch, bags and resources given out.
- Update incoming officers with council and state - this is how we communicate and support you.
- S.P.I.C.E. grant packets are available - try out a new program at your school that gets parents involved.
- Gear up for Reflections at your school and let your students "Believe, Dream, Inspire".
- Become a National PTA School of Excellence enroll now.

- Develop your PTA budget based on the needs of your school, have it approved by the Board of Directors and then the General Membership

- September 14th - Parent Engagement Conference and PTA Training will be held at A&T University from 8:00am-3:00pm.
- October 15th - Network with other PTA leaders in your school level! Find out what other PTAs are doing, hear about their successes, swap ideas and more.
- Elementary Networking - 10-11am, PTA Room
- Middle School Networking - 6-7pm, PTA Room
- High School Networking - 7-8pm, PTA Room
- Register Now for these sessions to be held in the PTA Room located behind the GCS Building at 712 Eugene St
- October 18th - S.P.I.C.E. Grant ONLINE submissions are due 11:59pm. Begin working on your PACKET.
- November 1st - $50 Council Membership dues deadline (due by October 18th if submitting a S.P.I.C.E. grant).
