OUR ISRAELI CONNECTION
News from The Israel Project

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed Tuesday  that   his  government
"won't show any more tolerance" to protesters participating in anti-government demonstrations across the country. Tens of thousands of protesters poured into Turkey's main cities over the weekend calling for Erdogan's resignation. Erdogan earlier this week called on his supporters to stage mass demonstrations in support of him and his Justice and Development Party (AKP), a move that observers worry will deepen the violence convulsing the country.

Speaking Sunday at a youth summer camp in the Gaza Strip, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh proclaimed to the crowd that Israel would be destroyed to make way for a Palestinian state. Arab media sources summed up his speech with the headline 'Haniyeh: No future for Israel on the land of Palestine.' It took place at a summer camp specifically dedicated to commemorating what Palestinians call their right of return, a diplomatic euphemism describing a scenario under which millions of Palestinian refugees - many of whom are radicalized and most of whom neighboring Arab countries have refused to settle for decades - would enter Israel. Hamas uses its summer camps to indoctrinate and train child soldiers, which are then deployed against Israel in combat situations.

Human rights activists seeking to highlight the lack of genuine democracy in Iran have launched a project to allow Iranians to express their electoral preferences in an unofficial, online election that will take place alongside this Friday's presidential election. Chaired by renowned Russian chess player and human rights advocate Garry Kasparov, the We Choose Global organization aims to draw attention to the regime's control over the election process, as well as to the essential meaninglessness of the balloting process.

Handshake Former Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman disclosed to Israeli radio on Monday that Israel is making diplomatic concessions to the Palestinians in order to assist Secretary of State John Kerry in a renewed peace process effort. Lieberman emphasized that Jerusalem considers itself to have "an interest in Kerry succeeding," and has implemented a de facto building freeze in parts of Jerusalem. Lieberman's comments come alongside additional reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered to release 50 Palestinian security prisoners as a goodwill gesture to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Abbas rejected the offer.
IT'S NEWS TO ME

US Court Approves Sharia Bankruptcy Plan - No Separation of Mosque & State

Debbie Schlussel reports: Longtime readers of this site know that I've been on the case of Arcapita, formerly known as First Islamic Investment Bank, for over a decade. Last year, when the company-owned by Jew-hating Gulf State sheiks (including the family that owns Al-Jazeera, the Qatari royal family)-filed for bankruptcy, I cheered. But my jaw dropped when I learned that the company had the gall to submit a sharia-compliant bankruptcy plan. That'll never fly, I thought, because it's unconstitutional. But I was wrong. As I've noted many times before, there truly is no Establishment Clause for Muslims in America or separation between mosque and state. These things apparently only apply to Christians and Jews. Bill Cosby: We Should All Be More Like Muslims

Conservativebyte.com reports: Bill must have missed all the killing and what not. Check it out:

I'm a Christian. But Muslims are misunderstood. Intentionally misunderstood. We should all be more like them. They make sense, especially with their children. There is no other group like the Black Muslims, who put so much effort into teaching children the right things, they don't smoke, they don't drink or overindulge in alcohol, they protect their women, they command respect. And what do these other people do? Read more.

China Encircles U.S. With Warships

Conservativebyte.com reports: This is certainly scary. They probably see how vulnerable we are and just waiting for the collapse so they can take over. They own the federal government anyway so the coup would be easy. Maybe this is Obama's plan to be the Chancellor of The Chinese States of America. Read more.

Army Smacks Soldier for Serving Chick-fil-A

WND.com reports: The Pentagon apparently has little liking for Chick-fil-A sandwiches and the Defense of Marriage Act. The U.S. Army has reportedly punished a master sergeant for hosting a party to celebrate both his personal promotion and the legislation supporting traditional heterosexual marriages.

Military Told not to Read Obama-Scandal News

Conservativebyte.com reports: President Obama has said the outrage over the federal government's decision to monitor citizens' phone activity is all "hype." He might want to share his opinion with the U.S. Air Force, which is ordering members of the service not to look at news stories about it. WND has received an unclassified NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) that warns airmen not to look at news stories related to the data-mining scandal. Read more.
