The High Holidays are Coming!

lulav and etrog It's that time of year again!

In order that you may fulfill the mitzvah of Lulav and Etrog as it is written in the Torah, "and you shall take on the first day, the fruit of the tree and branches of palm trees and a bough of the tree Avot and willows of the brook and you shall rejoice before the Lord your G-d seven days,"  we recommend you order your set through the Breslov Center, 231-8671.

Women are encouraged to purchase their own lulav & etrog set as we will once again hold a Women's Hoshanot service on Yom Tov.

In addition, we will have a Torah reading for women on Simchat Torah morning.

Columbus Eruv
As you are well aware, maintaining our community's Eruv can be costly. We have seen significant damage to our Eruv this summer alone. These repairs, along with improvements to our Eruv, are in addition to necessary on-going Eruv up-keep and surveillance.

If you have not sent in your annual dues of $180, please do so at this time.
If you would like to increase your support; for $360, you will earn two weeks of Eruv sponsorship in which you have the opportunity to honor/remember a loved one, announce a simcha, or gain merit for someone who needs recovery; and of course you will earn the merit of the 100's of times that people use the Eruv those weeks.

You can send your check to:
Eruv Society of Columbus
165 S. Chesterfield Rd
Columbus, OH 43209.

Or Donate through PayPal

Thank you for your continued support,
The Eruv Society
