 | Way less work than a lawn.... |
This is going to be a very dry year - but your yard doesn't have to look it....
Once upon a time, the hills of California were awash with native flowers, grasses and shrubs - an American version of Monet's Giverny gardens.
Our May sale is a splendid opportunity to take your time and visit us for our California Native Plants sale. We will be open both Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Without the need for fertilizers, pesticides, soil amendments, weed whackers, and lawn mowers, our drought tolerant and tough native plants put on a great show by being superbly adapted to our local climate and environment. Here's your chance to start a small corner of California paradise, or replace an entire water and time consuming lawn.
Why you might want to come on Saturday at 10:30....
 | Kelly Marshall has a list! |
How to start??? What to plant? Well, Kelly Marshall will be giving us the benefit of her expertise, in recommending a selection of Top 10 Native Plants that make for a successful garden. Really, these plants are easy to grow and wonderful to have in your garden.
And why not stay for some music?
Settle in and enjoy Michael Thelen playing the guitar and singing songs from the 60's and 70s, such as
the Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Neil Diamond, and John Denver.
