In case you haven't noticed of late it has been a bit on the chilly side the last week.
Here at Markham we embrace the cold as a recession priced - plant testing tool. Our international garden is where we test (read abuse) new plants to see if they can handle our tough local conditions.
If the plant performs well with both the heat and cold well offer it for sale at the nursery. If it curls up and looks for the closest rock to hide under, we'll kick it to the curb.
