Come join us for an exploration of Yin Yoga. You will experience a number of poses that are held for a longer period of time (usually 3 - 7 minutes) and generally practiced on the floor.  The poses gently work the deeper, connective tissues and joints for better movement and stability in the body. If our bodies are stuck, our (mental) energetic flow will be stuck as well. Yin encourages energy flow by balancing meridians (pathways) throughout the body. Once these pathways are balanced, energy is able to move freely.  When vital energy flow is restored, organs are able to function properly, helping with mind and body imbalances such as headaches, anxiety, stress, physical illness, inability to cope, and fear.  Help raise your vibration by "nurturing your body into strength".

Jenny Jacovides, RYT-200, Reiki I, took her first yoga class as an elective in college and continued to explore and practice throughout two pregnancies and the early years of raising children, still today finding solace and grounding in a changing world.  In 2012, wanting to learn more, she completed her 200-hour teacher training program with Studio Bamboo Institute of Yoga.  She has received additional training in Chair and Yin Yoga.  After exploring different kinds of the practice herself, Yin has earned a special place in her heart.  It is the practice of acceptance and surrendering to "what is".

Jenny has worked as a student with Trine' and attended events for five years at Reiki Wellness & Meditation Center, where she completed her Reiki Level I training.

At Healing Sanctuary there is never a fee - only love donations are accepted. An opportunity to try before you schedule a healing session at RWMC or to become familiar with what you will be trained for when registering for a Reiki I training.

Offered free to the general public, no age limitations or disability exclusions. Bring your family or friends.

Attendees are served on a first-come, first-served basis in between those registering for a specific time period.  Sessions last about 15 minutes, come prepared to stay 45 min or more to encompass the wait time, your session, free refreshments and Q & A in an open house style setting afterward.
