We read about it.

We want to receive it. 

We wish to give it. Well..... Only if it does not mean needing to give up being right, validated, acknowledged, in control ...etc.

Let's take a different approach to unconditional love. Notice a relationship where you are being particularly triggered right now. This relationship may simply annoy you, or it may sink deeper and actually pluck at your last good nerve. Either way, there is another human being in your world that is seemingly wreaking havoc on your ideal perspective of what that particular relationship should be like. You may have even built up some awesome "proof" and examples, maybe even created a list of how it should be, right? THERE IT IS! The culprit!

The moment you "should" the relationship you have stepped out of the unconditional part of unconditional love. Yes, we have hopes, desires and intentions of what this relationship will bring to the table. And of course, there is the just as destructive energy of expectation to add fuel to the fire. Again, expectation takes you even further from the desired unconditional energy aspect of love.

So what can you do? What can shift the energy of conditional love back to being unconditional love?

Let's start with your beliefs about love. Did you learn to receive love only after you did a good job? Was it safe to ask for tender loving care when you got hurt - even hurt because of your own choices? Or did you withhold self-love because you made a mistake and therefore felt unworthy to ask for or allow yourself to receive heart care.

Our greatest gift is free will. This means you have a choice! You can choose to practice the energy of unconditional or conditional love - it's really all up to you.

Each moment you can choose.

With this new perspective here are some action steps that will help you shift into  

unconditional love for yourself and others:

1 Ooops! There I go again! Notice when you have "shoulded" all over yourself or your relationship. The act of conscious noticing could bring a sense of empowerment you may not have felt in a while.

2 Examine your belief about what just triggered you (or triggers you about this relationship). Do you feel like this happens all the time, so your response is justified? Do you like how you feel during your response? Getting clear on your beliefs will help you take the next step.

3 Get clear about your needs. Knowing and accepting what you feel you need helps you stay in unconditional love AND have healthy selfish boundaries.

4 Re-choose! When re-choosing it is critical to know how you feel and give a good clean voice to those feelings. What I mean by a good clean voice is to give a voice without expectation, hope or desire that the other person will fix, change or otherwise be different.

Your feelings are yours, not theirs. Unconditional reminds us that all situations are perfect and brings us closer to the divine image of our higher self.

David Stewart, Ph.D., author of Healing Oils of the Bible, says that drugs are designed to send misinformation to cells or to block certain receptor sites in order to trick the body into giving up symptoms. Drugs never deal with the actual causes of disease. They aren't designed that way. They do give relief, but as we all know, all drugs have side effects.  

As a physician or as a patient, you must decide if the benefits outweigh the side effects. On the other hand, essential oils are derived from plants which were divinely made to be utilized by the body. According to the American Lung Association, our lungs have a surface area roughly the size of a tennis court, the left lung is slightly smaller than the right (making room for the heart), and did you know a sneeze travels faster than a cough (60 vs 100 miles an hour)? A person at rest breathes 12-15 times per minute. That's about 17,000 times a day and roughly 6 million breaths a year.  

The respiratory system works for the acquisition of oxygen and the elimination of carbon dioxide. It functions for the exchange of all gasses throughout the body. Its major organs include the lungs, the larynx, the trachea and the bronchial tube. Lungs are the respiratory organs of the body. They enable the exchange of gases, internal and external. The taking in of oxygen and the exhalation of carbon dioxide is the external function. The internal is the absorption of oxygen at the cellular level.
