Greetings! "Just for today I will give thanks for my many blessings..."
(Reiki Principle #1)
One of the basic concepts that we teach at RWMC is the power of gratitude. It is so important, that it is the first of the five Reiki Principles. It is seemingly an easy concept to grasp and put in practice in your life. Just for fun, as you sit here reading these words, take a moment and ask yourself if you are in gratitude. For some, as you asked yourself, you moved in to a place of gratitude. If that happened it is important to acknowledge that you are grateful!
Gratitude is a feeling, a thought. When we FEEL grateful, our heart is open and our vibrationrises. Similarly, when we think about being grateful, our thoughts are at a higher vibration. Using the declaration above (Reiki Principle #1) or simply stating the declaration "I am grateful" are two great ways to bring gratitude in to your life. As you focus on the thought of gratitude, you draw the feeling of gratitude within.
This month, join me in raising the vibration with words, thoughts and feelings of gratitude.
