ArtsOC Seeks Your Input for New Emergency Response Network

ArtsOC is one of several "hub" organizations participating in the Southern California Arts Responder Network, formed to help funders, who are so often looked to for aid, better prepare artists and arts organizations to survive disasters and cope with their aftermaths.

In order to understand how we can all improve our overall readiness in Southern California, we need to gain a better understanding of our region's readiness level so that we can focus our effort where it is most needed.

You can help us by completing a survey and sharing information about your own state of disaster readiness in confidential online survey here that will take 5-10 minutes.

ArtsOC is a proud sponsor of the 8th Annual Summer School for Nonprofits conducted by the Gianneschi Center at California State University, Fullerton, July 15-19. Full details may be found here.

Urban Land Institute/Orange County is offering nonprofit organizations facing land use issues to apply for free technical assistance.  Information and application here.

ExplorOcean (formerly the Newport Harbor Nautical Museum), has announced leadership changes, including a new chief executive, Tom Pollack.  Read the Daily Pilot article about it here.
