Community alliances across Orange County are working to support school districts' strategic arts plans to ensure that every student has access to a quality, standards-based arts education.  Arts Orange County is proud to be a leader in this initiative in partnership with the California Alliance for Arts Education and sponsored by The Boeing Company.

Each Local Arts Education Alliance believes:

• Learning in and through the arts educates the "whole" child
• Excellent arts and cultural resources can partner with us to create outstanding schools for all of our children.
• Even in tough economic times, Orange County schools must provide arts education

A standards-based arts curriculum is more important than ever now that 1 out of 6 jobs in Southern California is in the Creative industries.
