AIMS Testing February 23, 24 & 25th

Spring AIMS testing will be held on Monday (writing), Tuesday (reading) and Wednesday (math), Feb. 23-25 for any junior or senior who has not yet scored a "Meet" or wish to score an "Exceed" in one or more of the AIMS exams or who wish to.

Regular schedule next week. There will not be late in on any day for testing.

A letter was mailed home to parents on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2015 with directions for junior and senior students who need to retake the AIMS Writing, Reading and/or Math tests. Please feel free to contact Ms. Amonson at 696-4011 or tamonson@amphi.com for questions regarding the AIMS exams.

Mr Nighthawk

Mr. Nighthawk is this Friday, 2-20, at 6:00pm in the IRHS Auditorium. Come and see your Nighthawk boys compete. Tickets are $5.00 but if you bring items for the Smile Drive (dental items) you will get $2.00 off. Tickets will

be available at the door only.

AP Testing

AP testing is fast approaching! Now is the time to sign up for testing that will take place in May. A $25 non-refundable deposit per test is due no later than March 6, 2015, at the time of registration in the IRHS bookstore. The remaining balance amount of $66 per exam must be paid no later than Friday, April 3, 2015. If you have any questions on registering for AP exams, see your AP teacher or Ms. Amonson in the administration offices area.

Congratulations IRHS Girls Basketball

The Ironwood Ridge High girls basketball team beat Marana 53-51 on Tuesday night at Amphi High. They advance to Saturday's Division II, Section VI championship game against #1 Tucson High on Saturday, 2/14 at 5:15pm @ .

Congratulations to Shawn Bemiss, senior, who has advanced to the C-CAP Final Competition on March 21st and to Xavier Acevedo, junior, who has advanced to the C-CAP Final Competition as a Top 10

IRHS Boys Volleyball

Got Hops? Practice for the Men's Volleyball team has started. All prospective student-athletes must be cleared in the Athletic Office prior to practice. If you're interested in trying out for the team, please see Coach Lang in Room A307
