Major General Plan Amendment Proposal for Commercial Land Use at LaCholla and Naranja
To whom it may concern,
The Town of Oro Valley has received a proposal to change land use at the CORNERS OF LACHOLLA AND NARANJA from medium density single family residential to COMMERCIAL LAND USES.
Both the NW and SW corners are being proposed for this change. This proposal is going through the Town process and will be on the agenda at the Oro Valley Commission Hearing for citizen input on November 3 at the Oro Valley Town Hall.
Please visit the
www.Orovalleyaz.gov web page to learn more about these 2 proposed LAND USE CHANGES. There are many other items associated with this proposal, but the Commercial is of utmost concern.
There are many citizens who believe COMMERCIAL LAND USE is not appropriate for this location and that the land along La Cholla and Naranja should remain residential. As a direct neighbor to this proposal, Ironwood Ridge High School has a right as does any Citizen of Oro Valley to voice your opinion.
I hope you will share this information with all the parents who must use this roadway to bring their children to and from school at Ironwood High School and Wilson. This would dramatically transform the character of this portion of La Cholla if allowed to pass the Town Council. The vote will be on the agenda at the Town Council hearing in December. First it will be brought before the Oro Valley Commissioners on November 3. The Commission hearing Nov. 3 at 6 pm. will be open to the public for input on this topic.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
Sincerely a concerned citizen of Oro Valley,
