Quack for Kindness Award

Club Kindness will be awarding weekly kindness ducks to students who have demonstrated kindness at IRHS. Student Quack Award winners will be recognized on the Friday school announcements each week.

The IRHS Kindness Ducks award winners for this week are:

Ben Acosta- For Kindness and Welcoming new students to IRHS

Yara Solorzano- For always helping other students

Gina Peranzi- For always helping other students

Amy Alonso- For assisting new students with patience and
kindness

Amphi Passport for seniors.....

Feel like a student again! We invite you sign up for the Amphi Passport for admission to school athletic and fine arts events at the student rate. Passports are free for residents who are 62 or older and live within Amphitheater District boundaries. Spouses are eligible regardless of age.

Just take your card with you to any Amphitheater District athletic or fine arts event at an Amphi school and get in for the student price. Please note, some events are free.

We want to show you the great things that are happening in our schools, and thank you for your support. Many seniors give their time, money and expertise to help our students prepare for the future. This is just a small a way to give back.

The Passport cards are available through the Amphitheater Community Relations Office or online. You may request a card and check the events calendar below.

If you have additional questions about event dates or times, please call Amphitheater Community Relations at 696-5215 or 696-5225.

IRHS will be offering the PSAT test here on the IRHS campus on Saturday, October 18th from 9am-12pm. Please note this is the Saturday during our Fall Break. Juniors can start purchasing the test for $25.00 in the bookstore on September 8th. We will be selling the test to Juniors for the first two weeks and then we will open it up for all students to purchase.

Costco members may attend a special Costco event on Saturday, Sept 20 from 7 to 9 pm. Costco will donate to IRHS for every $55 spent per receipt. Keep watching for the staff/club wishlists. You can purchase an item for your student's teacher, classroom, club or sport and get credit to the $55 while you shop for you and your family.

Poetry Out Loud

will hold its first club meeting led by President
