Swim Team
Friday, August 22, 2014, 7pm - Auditorium
On August 22nd, 2014, The Ironwood Ridge High School Swim Team will play host to a Comedy Hypnosis Show Fundraiser starring
Master Stage Hypnotist Michael DeSchalit.

The show is a fundraiser for the Ironwood Ridge High School Swim Team. This event is going to fund the many different expenses that the Swim Team incurs throughout the year. This show is a high energy show where audience volunteers become the stars of the show by acting out wild and crazy skits using only their imagination. Dear AFS volunteers, families, and friends - It is with a happy heart that I write you today, because thanks your to responses from my previous email, we are finding host families that are excited to step up and welcome or host a student this year. A BIG THANK YOU to those of you who responded to my last email. If you didn't see my previous email, or haven't had a chance to respond, I am writing to let you know there are students still available to choose from. To those of you who have a sense that hosting might be right for you, now is the time to take that step. Consider either being a host family for one of these students, even for a few weeks, or help us to find families now for them.
AFS families come in all shapes and sizes - from individuals to large foster families. Students bring their own spending money and medical coverage while host families provide food, a bed, and the same care and support they would give their own children. If you've already decided to host--thank you!! If you have ever considered hosting a student for 6 months, an academic year, or even 6-12 weeks as a welcome family, please let this be the time you step forward and say "yes". If you cannot host at this time, please do everything you can to find a family who might be able to. Want to learn more about hosting: http://www.afsusa.org/host-family/. If you would like to know how you can help AFS at this time, please contact me at 646-381-3335 or by e-mail at rlandrum@afsusa.org. Thank you so much for your continued support of AFS now and in the future. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rick Landrum, Director, SW Team Development AFS-USA email: rlandrum@afsusa.org ph: (646) 381-3335 - toll free: 800-876-2376 ext 3335
