(Area around IRHS)

Good Afternoon,

 

Thank you for attending last night's neighborhood meeting regarding the proposed Major General Plan Amendment for the Shannon Road south of Ironwood Ridge High School  property (AKA Manning Property). Your questions, comments and suggestions are an integral part of the public review process and are considered seriously as the Town evaluates the applicant's proposal.

 

At the meeting, many of you expressed interest in attending the upcoming neighborhood meeting for Major General Plan Amendments proposed on the west side of La Cholla Boulevard between Glover Road and Lambert Lane. The neighborhood meeting for the La Cholla Boulevard and Naranja Drive Northwest and Southwest Major General Plan Amendments will be held on Wednesday, August 13th from 6 to 7:30pm at Casas Adobes Baptist Church (10801 N. La Cholla Blvd)

 

Following is a summary of the proposed amendments:

 

La Cholla Boulevard and Naranja Drive Southwest  (OV1114-003) Major General Plan Amendment 202-acre property on the west side of La Cholla Drive, between Naranja Drive and Lambert Lane.

 

Current Land Use Map Designations:

·         Rural Low Density Residential (145,000+ sq. ft. lots) or (0 - 0.3 du/ac*)

·         Low Density Residential (36,000 to 109,000 sq. ft. lots) or (0.4-1.2 du/ac*),

·         Medium Density Residential (9,000 to 21,000 sq. ft. lots) or (2.1-5.0 du/ac*)

·         Open Space

·         Neighborhood Commercial/Office

·         Public/Semi-Public

·         Significant Resource Area

 

Proposed Land Use Map Designation:

·         Master Planned Community comprised of open space, medium density residential, neighborhood commercial office, single family residential, multi-family residential, mixed use, neighborhood commercial, professional/medical offices and senior living uses.

*du/ac = dwelling units per acre

 

La Cholla Boulevard and Naranja Drive Northwest (OV1114-002)  Major General Plan Amendment 19 acre property on the west side of La Cholla Boulevard, between Glover Road and Naranja Drive.

 

Current Land Use Map Designations:

·         Medium Density Residential (9,000 to 21,000 sq. ft. lots) or (2.1-5.0 du/ac*)

·         Significant Resource Area

 

Proposed Land Use Map Designation:

·         Master Planned Community comprised of open space, neighborhood commercial /office, single family residential, multi-family residential professional/medical offices and senior living uses.

*du/ac = dwelling units per acre
