IRHS Principal Selection Information

Associate Superintendent, Monica Nelson attended our NPO Meeting last Monday. She shared with us about the process to acquire a new principal for IRHS.  The interview team will include representatives from the categories listed below.

We are looking for interested parents, teachers, staff and students to serve on the team to interview candidates seeking to become the new principal for IRHS.  If you are interested in participating on the interview team, please email BOTH Monica Nelson (mnelson@amphi.com) and Heather Juarez (hjuarez@amphi.com) by 9:00 a.m. on March 12.

Parents, teachers, students and staff play an important role in identifying representatives who will serve on the interview team; please provide the following background information which will help in the selection:

Teachers, please include your teaching assignment, length of service at IRHS, and your involvement at school beyond your classroom.

Parents, please include the grade level(s) of your child(ren), the length of time you've been an IRHS parent, and your involvement at school.

Staff, please include your area of responsibility and the length of service at IRHS.

Students, please include information about your grade and your involvement at IRHS.

If you become a member of the interview team, there are two important dates that you must be able to commit to:

March 26

Interview Team reviews/selects/designs questions, oral prompt, and written

8:00am - 12:00Noon    prompt to be used during the interview.

March 31

  On-site interviews of candidates
7:30am - 5:00pm

If you are unable to participate on the interview team, you may submit questions for the team to consider.  Please send them to Monica Nelson (mnelson@amphi.com) and Heather Juarez (hjuarez@amphi.com)  so they can be included in the packet of proposed questions the committee will consider.

If you have questions, please contact Monica Nelson, mnelson@amphi.com.

Thanks!
