This Monday May 6 - Deadline to send in photographs of your senior in action. Wanted: pics of seniors performing in school activities, sports, play's, etc.; group shots of seniors together show team spirit, friendship, community, and accolades.
Note, this is a new deadline.
Also note, the Facebook sharing option advertised in yesterday's newsletter is not working adequately; as such please email jpeg files (800x600 size), or drop of a disc at the front office.
Monday, May 13th at 6:30pm - Senior Honors Night Special invitations will be mailed this week. Please RSVP to Rebekah Watts (696-3933) as to whether your honor student will attend and the total number in your party who will attend. If your student doesn't receive an invitation and you feel they should have, notify Ms Watts immediately.
Friday May 17 before 3:35pm - Two Deadlines:
1) return & payment of all books/fees/equipment, and
2) completion of all coursework counted towards participation in the graduation ceremony. This includes all correspondence classes, independent study, Distance Learning, and Amphi Academy.
NOTE: All seniors taking Pima College's Writing 102 must submit an Early Grade Report form next week, which is a full week before the 5/17 deadline. Their guidance counselor has blanks. Without indication of a passing grade, they may not participate in graduation ceremonies
Tuesday May 21, 9am-noon - Senior Breakfast
All seniors must participate. Sign-in is required!!!
NOTE: Tickets ($65) for Project Grad on sale. Parent signature needed for students under 18yrs old.
Wednesday May 22 - Day of Graduation
8:30am - Graduation practice
All seniors must participate. Sign-in is required!!!
Noon - Deadline for 22" x 14" Memory Lane collage
4 to 6pm - Project Grad open house for parents (no students are permitted) to tour the decorated party venue
5pm: Doors open for ceremony
- NOTE: THIS IS A CHANGE FROM PREVIOUS YEARS to reduce the "camping out" to hold seats ahead of time. Please know that this year audio/visual technology changes were made to increase, through the aid of two jumbotrons, the visibility of the proceedings.
- Also NOTE: Historically due to cars lining Naranja people think school parking lots are full when they are not. The West parking lot next to the stadium has had MANY empty parking spaces left in each of the past several years.
7pm: Ceremony starts
Directly following ceremony - 11:30pm Graduates check in to Project Grad party
