A Few Tidbits...
Prom pictures are now available at the front desk. Students must show their ID.- Only 7 days left to place a Brick order and have it installed this summer.
- The Bookstore has a dazzling array of stuff that has been lost but not found. Unclaimed items will be donated after May 23rd.
- Juniors excited about becoming seniors are invited to Project Grad's Junior Advisory Committee luncheon this Friday April 26th in the counseling career center. Free food will be provided in exchange for their ideas about next year's Project Grad event theme.

Graduation Information
Personal snapshots of your senior throughout their school years are wanted for three different graduation-related happenings: Senior Slide Show during school, a slide show at the Project Grad Event, and the Memory Lane Collages made by you and displayed at Project Grad. So, when you're gathering photos for your Memory Lane Collage, please also forward them via email to to pnhudson@comcast.net (or you can drop off a CD labeled Project Grad at the front office.) Please submit pictures digitally in 800x600 JPEG format, and in the standard 4x6 size. Any received after 4/30 will only be included in the slide show at Project Grad.
Please take some time to submit pictures of your Senior/Graduate performing in school activities, sports, play's, etc. Group shots of Seniors together show team spirit, friendship, community, and accolades. Let us show off our Seniors joy of being a Nighthawk and share their faces with the entire class of 2013.

Our Classrooms Are in Need
Teachers and students need your donations to replenish the following classroom basics:
- Postage Stamps for English Department - postcard mailings to parents
- Kleenex
- Dry erase markers
- Hand sanitizer
- Color pencils
- Glue
- Tape - both scotch and masking tape
Please send a couple items in with your students. Items can be delivered to front office or given directly to teachers. Thanks!

"National French Contest Honorees
The following students recently participated in the National French Contest (an AP level test in which over 100,000 students participated nationally) and were awarded
the following honors:
Bronze medal winners: (placed in the top 10 in the country) French 1: Lelia Bouanani, Allison Mathieu, Sequoia Smith, and Jessica Stockey. French 2: Julia Finfrock, James Leonard, Matthew Mitchell, Andrew Nesler, Ross Shipley, Camila Suarez and Vanessa Van Scyoc. French 3: Leo Hamerlynck and Haley Peterson (also placed 1st in the state of Arizona!)
Certicat d'honneur winners (placed in the top 20% in the country) French 3: Jocomin Galarneau, Caitlyn Leo, Cody Van Cleve.
Certificat de Reussite winners (placed in top 50% in the country. French 1: Alyssa Kervan, Talon Krebs, Mercedes Martinez and Tiffany Pham. French 2: Matthew Bumb, Sydney Byler, Dani Durr, Emily Fleckenstein, Carmen Gniewek, Emily Jorgenson, Briana Kempker, Nicolas Montiminy, Anna Pfalzgra, Alexis Richey, Bobby Yersavich. Powder Puff Football and GLOW Afterwards - This Friday, 7pm

This Friday, April 26, at 7:00PM on the practice field will be the annual powder puff football game. There is no admission so bring a lawn chair and a friend to see the junior and senior girls battle it out. And..... After the game is GLOW (8-11pm in the Blackbox Theater). Just $1 to get in, students enjoy "the bright lights and some sick, pumping beats." Water and glow sticks will also be $1.00!

Fine Arts Booster Meeting - Tues Apr 30, 5pm
You are invited to the Fine Arts Booster meeting on Tuesday April 30 from 5-6pm in the 2D classroom. They will be holding elections for next year's FAB officers. They are looking for people interested in being Secretary or Vice President. Job descriptions: Secretary is responsible for taking minutes of monthly meetings and sending email reminder to committee. Vice President assists the President with organizing and running the booster by leading meetings in his/her absence and working with the Fine Art teachers and Art Club officers. They will also be doing planning for the 2013-2014 academic year. They hope you can make it.

Reminders
Glitz and Encore Show Choirs auditions

IRHS Senior Honors Night 2013 is Monday, May 13 at 6PM in the IRHS Fine Arts Auditorium.
The Golder Ranch Fire District is launching an Explorer Post for young men and women, 15-20 years old, who have an interest in the fire service. For more info go to grfdaz.org or contact Captain Joshua Hurguy at 818-1017. Application deadline: 5:00PM on 5/10/13.
