We have updated the Bylaws to reflect the current operation and structure of the NPO. The proposed Bylaws are on the IRHS WEBSITE under the heading: Nighthawk Parent Organization. Please follow the link to find analysis of proposed changes and updated Bylaws. We will hold a vote to approve the proposed Bylaws at the next general meeting on Monday, April 9, 2012.

FOREIGN EXCHANGE OPPORTUNITIES - EUROPE, ASIA, AFRICA, LATIN AMERICA, OCEANIA!

Since 1947, the AFS Foreign Exchange Program has given more than 400,000 students and young adult professionals the opportunity to study and travel abroad. AFS Participants come from all over the world and live with a host family while attending school or working within a community, gaining language and life skills that broaden their  personal, educational and professional horizons. AFS USA sends students to over 60 countries around the world. AFS Host Families share their homes with a new family member and open doors within their communities. Participants are carefully matched, and volunteers are always on hand to make sure host families and students have the support they need for a positive experience. Family and student often forge strong ties that can last a lifetime.

All AFS programs are supported by trained volunteers and encourage participants to connect to a global community by developing individual relationships. Students can spend a full or partial year in a foreign culture; families can sign up to host a visiting exchange student or teacher. Please click here FOREIGN EXCHANGE WEBSITE for more information.
