PLEASE CONSIDER JOINING THE NIGHTHAWK PARENT ORGANIZATION Amphitheater Public Schools Governing Board Update - Superintendent Search Diana L. Boros, President, Amphitheater Governing Board, released an update this week on the status of the process for selecting a new superintendent. The position is being advertised by the Arizona School Boards Association. The Board will begin screening the applications on March 27th and selecting candidates to move to the interview process which will be held April 11 through April 13. A forum for community members to meet finalists for the position is scheduled for Thursday, April 12th at 6:30 p.m. The forum will take place in the Cross Middle School cafeteria. AMPHI FOUNDATION HOLLYWOOD GALA Westward Look Resort - Saturday, April 7, 2012 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm Funds raised each year go to support the children of the Amphitheater School District through the Amphi Clothing Bank, scholarships for sports, academic competition travel, MathPlus Tutoring and the 21st Century Classroom Initiative. Art Club will be selling their artwork at the upcoming Art In The Park Mar 17-18 at Oro Valley Market Place Sat. 9-4pm and Sun 11-4pm Please come by and support them. It is a great opportunity to buy some wonderful artwork made by IRHS students. They will be selling jewelry, ceramics, drawings, and paintings. PROGRESS REPORTS
Next Friday, March 16th, marks the end of the 3rd quarter grading period.
A Consolidated Student Progress report will be run at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, March 19th (the first day of Spring Break).
The grade that is in your grade book at that time will be the grade used to determine athletic eligibility; we will also distribute printed copies of the report in fourth hour classes upon our return March 26th. |
