DR. VICKI BALENTINE ANNOUNCES HER RETIREMENT

 

Dr. Balentine has recently announced her retirement effective June 30, 2012.
Dr. Balentine's Retirement letter can be found on the AMPHITHEATER DISTRICT WEBSITE under News and Events.
 
The Governing Board has initiated a nationwide search process for Dr. Balentine's successor.  The search process will also include opportunities for community input through Community Forums and a Public Input Survey.  The first two forums will be held on Tuesday, January 17th with a third session scheduled for Wednesday, January 18th.  The forums will be held at Canyon del Oro High School in the Fine Arts Auditorium.  Click NEW SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH for ALL information regarding this process, Forum Schedules and the Public Input Survey link.

IRHS ART CLUB BAKE SALE

The Fine Arts Parent Booster is helping the Art Club to raise funds for field trips, supplies, entry fees and scholarships. If you would like to donate a baked good, please follow this link

Items may be dropped off at the art classrooms by 3:40pm Friday Jan. 20 or at 8:30 am on Saturday at the Oro Valley Farmer's Market 

 

The Fine Arts Booster meets the second Monday each month at 6:30pm in the 3D class room/ Mrs. Griffis' room. We would like to encourage parents who share a love of art and/or who have students in Art Club or art classes to join the Fine Arts Booster. It is a fun way to meet new people and share your interest in art with others and our students.

 

Art Club Mission: To foster an appreciation of art, to encourage students'
creative expression in various media, and to give students an opportunity to

share their work and talents with each other while exploring how art is a part of our daily lives.  Art Club is open to all IRHS students. For more info. on joining the Fine Arts Booster contact Jennifer Vigil.
