I. INCREDIBLE Success For NE Florida - Georgia 4/22/13 Wish List

WOW, the Salty Southeast Cruisers' Net owes a HUGE debt of gratitude to the Cruising Community for the absolutely INCREDIBLE response to our NE Florida - Georgia Wish List. NEVER BEFORE have we received such an overwhelming out-poring of information to a Wish List.

Out of 39 questions, we received replies to 31 queries, and, in most cases, you, the members of this list, contributed multiple inputs to the same question. All in all, we received over 200 answers to our questions. So, without further ado, THANKS, THANKS, THANKS to the cruising community.

SSECN Senior Editor, Captain Larry Dorminy, and yours truly have spent the entire week posting these many replies. The vast majority of the marinas and anchorages along the path of the AICW from a point north of Daytona Beach, Florida, to the Georgia - South Carolina state line, have now been updated with this voluminous, fresh news. And, all of this input has been published as BOTH "Cruising News" articles, AND reviews of the various marinas and anchorages!

Stand by for a "South Carolina - North Carolina" Wish List, which will be on its way to your in-box early next week. We humbly ask that you give these requests for information the same, superb attention as those contained in our 4/22/13 Wish List!

1. Statute Mile 775.5 - Who has taken on fuel at Inlet Marina, flanking the AICW's eastern banks, just south of the Vilano Beach Bridge? Did you try out the new restaurant which has opened here? How was the food? Did anybody provision while docked here, by walking to the newly opened, nearby Publix supermarket?

2. Statute Mile 666 - Who has anchored on the Frederica River lately? Did you enter the river from its southern or northern intersections with the Waterway? Did you drop the hook abeam of the Fort Frederica National Monument, and, if so, did you dinghy ashore? Were you impressed with the tour, and/on slide show in the National Monument?
