VIRGINIA ECONOMIC DEVELOPERS ASSOCIATION
ELECTS NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Fredericksburg - The Virginia Economic Developers Association (VEDA) elected its 2015 Board of Directors last month at the Association's Annual Meeting in Fredericksburg.      

 

Officers for 2015 are President, Michele Mixner DeWitt, City of Williamsburg Department of Economic Development; Vice President, Deborah Flippo, Draper Aden Associates; Treasurer, Debbie Melvin, Virginia Economic Development Partnership; Secretary, Kenneth McFadyen, Blue Ridge Crossroads Development Authority; and Immediate Past President, Robert Kent Hill, Dominion Virginia Power. 

 

Board members for 2015 are Chris Engel, City of Charlottesville Office of Economic Development; Amanda Glover, Augusta County Department of Economic Development; Gregory Hitchin, City of Waynesboro Economic Development; Mallory Kahler, City of Portsmouth Department of Economic Development; Stephanie Landrum, Alexandria Economic Development Partnership; John Loftus, Virginia Economic Development Partnership; Megan Lucas, Region 2000 Economic Development Council; Thomas Miller, Orange County Economic Development; and Jeff F. Taylor, Appomattox County Economic Development.

 

The 2014 Annual Membership Meeting consisted of a day-long luncheon program and educational sessions with more than 125 economic developers and industry professionals in attendance.
