VIRGINIA ECONOMIC DEVELOPERS ASSOCIATION ELECTS NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Richmond - The Virginia Economic Developers Association (VEDA) elected its 2014 Board of Directors last month at the Association's Annual Meeting in Richmond.      

 

Officers for 2014 are President, Robert Kent Hill, Dominion Virginia Power; Vice President, Michele Mixner DeWitt, City of Williamsburg Department of Economic Development; Treasurer, Deborah Flippo, Draper Aden Associates; Secretary, Debbie Melvin, Virginia Department of Business Assistance; and Immediate Past President, Ann Blair Miller, Roanoke Regional Partnership.

 

Board members for 2014 are R. Bryan David; Chris Engel, City of Charlottesville Office of Economic Development; Amanda Glover, Augusta County; Joseph C. Hines, Timmons Group; Gregory Hitchin, City of Waynesboro; Stephanie Landrum, Alexandria Economic Development Partnership; Kenneth McFadyen, Blue Ridge Crossroads Development Authority; Thomas Miller, Hanover County Economic Development; and Amy N. Parkhurst, Hampton Roads Economic Development Alliance.

 

The 2013 Annual Membership Meeting consisted of a day-long luncheon program and educational sessions with more than 125 economic developers and industry professionals in attendance.
