February - the Little Month that Could!
balloons_congrats.jpg
Despite being the shortest month of the year, February 2015 saw a new sales record set for shopgoodwill.com, with site-wide sales totaling over $5.6 million dollars!

The record looks to be as short-lived as the month of February, however, as we are on pace in March to exceed $6 million in sales site-wide for the first time ever.

Great job everyone!

Recent Seller's Guide Updates/Additions

The February Seller Tier Report is now posted and a new Top 10 Sold Items per Month page has been added.

The E-commerce Webinars page has been updated with a link to the March webinar, which featured a presentation on the Neatoscan e-books scanning software.  Also included in the March webinar was a quick review of different examples of training materials for collectibles that several Goodwills shared.  A link to download this material from the GII website (log in to your GII MyGoodwill account first) can be found here and on the webinar page.

The April webinar will be on April 2 and will feature a virtual tour of the Spokane WA e-commerce operation.

Please remember to also check the Support Site forums regularly for announcements, news and general sharing of best practices.

  • Wondering how to safely pack and ship that $1,000 painting you just sold?  Go here for tips (not an endorsement of the product, but it looks effective and at the very least might provide a good model for devising your own similar packaging methods).
  • Still time to get tickets!  PBS' Antiques Roadshow is coming soon to Tucson, Spokane, Omaha, Cleveland, Little Rock, and Charleston SC.  Tickets to the appraisal events are free and awarded on a lottery basis - if you are near one of the locations, apply for your tickets here.  Who knows? You might end up on TV!
