"Drive Out Hunger"

The need still exists! Arbella remains committed to supporting the programs that help the

people in our communities who need it most. I am pleased to announce that the Arbella Insurance Foundation is continuing its winter tradition of sponsoring the seventh annual Let's Drive Out Hunger program. Over the past six years, together with our partner agents, we have been able to contribute more than half a million dollars to food pantries in our local communities. Standing alongside you, our partners, Arbella is here to help over 400 emergency food programs, soup kitchens, food pantries, and food banks across New England communities that desperately need us.

 

The Program

 

The Arbella Insurance Foundation will match eligible charitable donations on a two-for-one basis, up to a $500 maximum Arbella donation per agency. Essentially, the more you give, the more we give. With just a $250 donation and Arbella's $500 match, your total agency donation would be increased to $750! Organizations eligible for the match are food pantries, food banks, and homeless shelters, as long as they are qualified as an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organization or a governmental agency. The program will be in place from November 3, 2014 through February 27, 2015.

 

Arbella agents are part of the community fabric that runs throughout New England, and you are proven leaders in support of countless charities and civic efforts. According to a local food pantry director, "Every year we serve more and more individuals and families. Your gift helps us make a significant difference!" Local media can help get the message out that donating money to local charities is part of your agency's ongoing commitment to the community. In order to help with your promotional efforts, included in this email are a press release template and media outreach tips.


Once again, we are offering an oversized check that we will customize with your agency's name and the organization's name for you to present to the organization.
