Is it just me or is this who New Year New You malarkey some sort of cosmic joke invented some perma-tan guru who sees the positive in penury, cellulite and total ennui?

Singularly the worst time of year to kick-start new habits, detox from old bad ones and to take up bright new hobbies and career paths when you've about as much willpower to say no to a double shot expresso and opt for a single.

I do believe that the time, the preparations and the mindset have to be aligned before we can truly start to make the positive changes in our lives which are going to upgrade our lives and teleport us to our dreams and visions.  

And oh, yes, those dreams, those glorious visions!! You know the ones that pop up as you stare at the grey-faced commuter sitting opposite, that haunt your waking thoughts before you slip into hopeful slumber; those compelling messages that speak the primal truth - that YES, there is more to you and life than this. The siren song of the heart's desire will never dim until you listen to it.

You know of what I mean - that image you foster of that beaming uber you in the ace job, with the dream lover stretched out next to you on the sun lounger, that six figure bank account that buys you your wings at last, that book that keeps urging you to midwife it - yes those dreams, that siren song.

Well, peel back the duvet, put down that plate of comfort food and listen up. This year I am setting myself some pretty spicy goals (my second book is out in spring and I'm launching an online business next month) which I'm excited about achieving and I've already hit one of them by going on my first ever 9 mile, 90 minute run this past weekend. In doing this I stretched my body and my mind about what I can do.

And I know this - we are all limitless beings of light and possibility - we just need a launch pad, a heap of courage and a plan.

Being a coach and helping other people grab the comet's tail of their dreams rocks my world and I want to help every one of you to get closer to what you were put here on earth to do this year.
