Today's Youth are Tomorrow's Leaders

April 2016
Zoe for President
Zoe is a one-year-old toddler who represents the potential in every child. Whether that's a teacher, firefighter or the next president of the United States, she's showing that with the Y's support, all kids have the opportunity to become their best selves.

We're campaigning for Zoe because she symbolizes the need, right here in our community, to nurture and develop our future leaders. Learn more about our campaign for Zoe.

Gently Used Gardening Tools Needed
Imagine a garden oasis in an urban setting, one that supplies fresh, affordable, healthy vegetables to local residents. That dream will become reality when the Rye Y joins Port Chester Cares, the Port Chester Housing Authority, Family Services of Westchester and local elected officials for a ribbon cutting at Weber Community Garden on Saturday, April 2.  Part of the Y's work with the Healthier Port Chester coalition, the garden will be maintained and enjoyed by residents of the village's housing authority. New or gently used gardening tools are needed. If you would like to donate a tool, please contact Alex Payan of Port Chester Cares at apayan@fsw.org.
