RYE YMCA MEMBER NEWS                       MARCH 2015
In This Issue
This month you will notice posters, banners and signs throughout the building asking for your help. Our two staff teams: Team Transform More (Laura Tiedge-captain) and Team Daredevils (Hillary Southard-captain) will be enthusiastically engaging with members about our campaign and holding several small fundraising events.
You Make More Possible
Last year we awarded over $560,000 in financial assistance  and the need in our community continues to grow. We need your help! Your gift will help the Rye Y keep a powerful promise to our community: no one will be turned away from a Y program or activity because he or she can't pay. Click here to learn more about our campaign.

We have added an additional scanner to ensure that all members check in when they arrive at the Y. Checking in with our membership staff is important for security and accurate facility usage records, so that we can better serve you! We appreciate your cooperation in scanning your card each time you visit the Y.

Ask your insurance company if they reimburse part of your Y membership fees. Scanning in is required to receive this benefit.

Spotlight on Summer Camp
By Hillary Southard, Senior Program Director
There may still be icicles on our noses, but t-shirts and shorts are on the horizon!  Since opening registration in January we have been watching our summer day camps fill up - including several weeks of Gymnastics, Sports, Arts and Lego.
Joining our camp leadership this year is John Rice - Camp, Family & Teen Director.  John oversees all camps at the Osborn school and brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for the Y. Read John's story

If you haven't yet, make sure to register your camper soon.  Camp is not only a form of child care, but also a true well-rounded development experience for our youth.  If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out -
