TOGETHERHOOD
Join other Rye Y members in community service! The member-led Togetherhood Service Committee is planning a day of painting at St. Ignatius School in the Bronx on August 13. Join us for the day or for a morning or afternoon shift as we brighten hallways and stairwells at this inner city school. For more information, click here.

I hope you are enjoying your summer! Here at the Rye Y we are gearing up for fall registration, starting next week. You can view our fall program guide online or stop by the Y and pick up a copy. I encourage you to browse through the guide and learn about all the exciting programs and activities we have scheduled in the upcoming months. Coming to the Wellness Center this month...
 * New sports flooring throughout the center * New Techno Gym Artis Strength Equipment to replace the current line plus two additions to our line - the Vertical Traction and Rotary Torso. * New top of the line cardio equipment including replacement Arc Trainers, Ellipticals and AMTs plus the new, innovative Stairmaster Step Mill 5. * Two new replacement racks of Iron Grip dumbells, ranging from 15 to 100 pounds The Wellness Center will closeMonday, August 18 for renovations. We hope to re-open Tuesday, August 26. The Freestyle Fitness Zone will be open and there will be special workouts led by personal trainers in the gymnasium.
