Spotlight on Rye Y's Annual Campaign
By Eileen Barber, Chief Operating Officer
We're More than a Gym. We're a Cause.
As a not-for-profit, charitable organization, the Y is committed to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
If you've walked into the Rye Y in the past week, you've probably noticed the posters, banners and signs indicating that our Annual Campaign is in full swing. You may also be aware that two staff teams, Team Impact (Laura Tiedge-captain) and Team Achievement (Scott Umbel-captain), are enthusiastically engaging with members about our campaign. The reason for all this activity is simple. The need in our community continues to grow - and we need your help. Last year, we awarded over $625,000 in financial assistance and it appears that the need in 2014 will only grow larger. Your tax deductible contribution to the Rye Y's Annual Campaign will support those who need it most - right here in our community. Please, be a part of the solution - take the time to talk to a campaigner, visit our website, but make your gift today.
