Greetings!

Happy Thanksgiving! We will be open on Thanksgiving Day.  We will be at TTouch Training November 10-19 (see below for particulars). Help is needed to keep GMO's labeled...so you can choose what you eat and feed your pet. And more new products are on their way.

  We will be off to TTouch training on November 10, with our shop closing at 11:00am, so we plan on being open from 9:00am-11:00am on November 10, 2012. 

  There is one caveat, however, that we just experienced with our last trip out, that suggests it is possible we might have to close early, if our flight gets changed to an earlier one, at the last minute.  Last trip, our flight was cancelled, and then "reinstated", only they did not tell us the reinstatement was to a flight two hours earlier!  Live and learn.

  We are scheduled to return mid day on November 19, so plan on having food and supply pickup available by 4:00pm.  Shop will be open regular hours on November 20. 

  From shop closure on November 10 through our return November 19, no food and supply pickup will be available, and November 16 will be a skip week for Obedience Classes.  Please plan ahead for your needs.

November 22, Thanksgiving, we will be open regular hours, 1:00pm to 9:00pm.

Future exceptions, for your planning purposes, are always posted on our website, under "Contacts" (scroll down).   And we always put it on our outgoing phone message, when the shop is closed. Just call our shop (907-790-3647) to check, and listen to the outgoing message, before heading our way.

We have added new flavors of Stella & Chewy's Freeze Dried Dinners, for Dogs and Cats.  We now have Duck, Duck, Goose, Dinner for cats!  And we have added Lamb, Surf and Turf, and Chicken to our dog dinner selection.  Yum!  Samples available. 

  As you may have heard, there is a Proposition 37, in California, that is on their ballot, to be voted on November 6.  It is about having Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO's) labeled, so you can tell what kind of food you are eating or feeding your pet.  I believe the outcome of this election will have significant impact on the entire country, and even the world.  The outcome will set the stage for years to come, in whether or not you will know or can find out what you are eating or feeding your pet.

  Research is proving more and more, what a (negative) impact GMOs are having on our health and that of our pets.  Without labeling foods with GMOs in them, it will become impossible to be able to make choices, either way. If you would like to be able to choose what kind of food you eat or feed your pet, you can help.  Please go to Organic Consumers Association, to see how you can help.  Tell your California friends to vote YES on Proposition 37!
