Greetings!

Happy Halloween! We will be at the Pet Festival on October 20, so will have special shop hours that day, and will be doing a fundraiser for the Gastineau Humane Society (GHS) with our new service, Fun Photos with Fido, at the Pet Festival.  There are some new Interactive Feeder/Puzzles for cats and dogs.  We are introducing our new Good Dog, Forever! class, starting in November. And Taste of the Wild has a new foods for cats and dogs.

Revised Shop hours, October 20 (Pet Festival day)

We will be at the Pet Festival, from 11:00am till 5:00pm, on Saturday, October 20 (at the JACC downtown).  So we will have shop hours before and after the Festival.  Specifically, we will have the shop open 8:00am-10:45am, will be closed while at the Pet Festival from 10:45am-6:00pm, and reopen from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Remember we do have 24/7 pick up available, by prior arrangement [call us at 790-DOGS (3647)].

Note: Pet Festival actual hours at the JACC, will be 11:00am-5:00pm

November 10-19 will be the next closure.

Future exceptions, for your planning purposes, are always posted on our website, under "Contacts" (scroll down).   And we always put it on our outgoing phone message, when the shop is closed. Just call our shop (907-790-3647) to check, and listen to the outgoing message, before heading our way.

Taste of the Wild - New Flavors for Dogs & Cats

Taste of the Wild has a new flavor in kibble and canned for dogs and cats.  Southwest Canyon for dogs, has Beef and Wild Boar.  For cats, we have Canyon River Feline, with Trout and Smoked Salmon.  We are getting great reviews from cats and dogs on them!

With Halloween soon upon us, please remember to keep your pet safe and secure. Keep all the collected goodies and treats in a safe and inaccessible place, well away from creative feeders. If your pet gets too excited or stressed with lots of visitors coming to the door, kenneling them or putting them in a quiet and secure/safe place may lower their stress level.  Flower Essences and calming Herbal remedies may also help alleviate stress.

Sincerely,

Martha Fischbach, CTTP, CPG
