Please be advised that all MGM Resorts properties request a credit card guarantee or cash deposit upon check-in from their hotel guests for potential incidental charges incurred during their stay at the hotel. An incidental deposit is not mandatory at most properties but is required if guests wish to have room charge privileges. However, deposits are mandatory without exception if guests are staying in a suite category at any property.
Please note, incidental deposits are also mandatory for all guests staying at Vdara and The Signature at MGM Grand regardlesss of category booked.
The requested amount per day to enable charging privileges varies by hotel as listed below:
ARIA and Bellagio requires a $130/day deposit for credit cards or a $200/day deposit for cash/debit cards.
Vdara has a mandatory deposit requirement of $130/day deposit for credit cards or a $100/day deposit for cash/debit cards. Guests who are unable to provide a deposit will be relocated to another property.
The Signature at MGM Grand has a mandatory deposit requirement of $100/day (up to 3 days) deposit for credit cards and debit cards. No cash accepted. Guests who are unable to provide a deposit will be relocated to another property.
MGM Grand requires a $100/day (up to 3 days) deposit for credit cards and debit cards.
Mandalay Bay and THEhotel at Mandalay Bay requires a $100/day deposit for credit cards and debit cards. No cash accepted.
Mirage requires a $100/day deposit for credit/debit cards. No cash accepted.
New York New York requires a $100/day deposit for credit cards or cash/debit cards.
Monte Carlo requires a $50/day deposit for credit cards or a $100/day deposit for cash/debit cards.
Luxor requires a $50/day deposit for credit cards or cash/debit cards.
Excalibur requires a $20/day deposit for credit cards or a $30/day deposit for cash/debit cards (movies only, no F&B allowed).
Circus Circus requires a $30/day deposit for credit cards (long distance calls & movies only) or $50 cash/debit cards (long distance calls & movies only).
