HRH Prince George Alexander Louis arrived just hours ahead of the July 22 Full Moon. Though he is a Cancer Sun sign with the Moon in Capricorn, he was born at the cusp of Leo and reflects well the Aquarius Full Moon. He will be a King (presumably, someday), which is very Leo, and one who is popular with the people (represented by Aquarius).

The Prince has that Grand Trine in Water signs in his chart of course, and the Star of David will impact his life at around age 7 since it comes a week after his birth. (The astrological technique of Progressions uses each day after a person's birth as symbolic of a year of life. There's more on that in my blog.)

The next Full Moon in Aquarius will be on August 20, and I will write you about that before then.

This week, Jupiter passed through the same degree of Cancer where it was on July 4, 1776. Generally when a person, company or country has a Jupiter Return (about every 12 years), it's a favorable time with prospects looking hopeful. Cancer is the sign related to housing and the food supply. In addition, Jupiter is close to our country's Sun, thus it highlights our leader. In the chart I use (2:18 AM, Gemini rising), Jupiter is in the Second House of money. Regardless of what US chart you use, Jupiter is paired with Venus, the natural ruler of assets and wealth.

Well, not ALL of the news is good. Sometimes, Jupiter just makes things bigger, including problems!

Look up where Jupiter is in your birth chart. It will show areas by its sign and house where you can bring about expansion in your life. How easy or hard it is to do that is shown by the connections (aspects) Jupiter makes with other planets. If it makes nice sextiles and trines, you are probably a very lucky person. If it makes oppositions and squares, you have to try harder than most people to encourage growth of what you want.

As Jupiter moves around the zodiac and around your chart, it spends about a year in each sign and in each house. (Your houses can be bigger or smaller than the average of 30 degrees, and that will impact the duration of Jupiter's visit.) Find where the sign Cancer shows up in your chart. Jupiter will be in that area for the next year.

If you have planets in Cancer, Jupiter will amplify whatever they signify. If you have planets in the signs square and opposite Cancer (Aries, Libra and Capricorn), they will receive harsh stimulation from Jupiter at some point from June 2013 to July 2014. You can compare the degree of Jupiter in motion to your natal planets by looking in an ephemeris. (There is one in the reference section of Janet's Plan-its, with instructions!)
