Western District hosts conversation on sexuality

Over 130 people  signed up for the Western District Conference Reference Council with the theme of "The Church and Homosexuality: A Conversation that can Hold us Together" held on Oct. 26 at Faith Mennonite Church, Newton, Kan.

MC Canada reaches out to Yoder sexual abuse survivors

Mennonite Church Canada is discerning how best to respond to Canadian survivors of sexual abuse by theologian John Howard Yoder.

"We know there were Canadians who attended [Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, Elkhart, Ind.] during Yoder's tenure at our bi-national seminary," said Karen Martens Zimmerly, denominational minister. "I want to invite any Canadian who encountered harassment from John Howard Yoder to consider joining in this renewed opportunity for healing" ...
