In a recent article for Equipping, I announced that Sara Wenger Shenk and I are proposing a denominational response to the painful and complex legacy of sexual abuse perpetrated by John Howard Yoder (JHY). Sara is president of Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, where Yoder once served as a president and professor. WDC hosts Year of the Bible launch

Marlene Bogard, director of the Western District Conference Resource Library and Year of the Bible coordinator, opened the Year of the Bible Launch, held Aug. 1-2 on the Bethel College campus in North Newton, Kan., by noting that planners expected 100 participants. About 220 came.
