One member of Mountain Community Mennonite Church (MCMC), Palmer Lake, Colo., lost her home in the Black Forest Fire, the worst wildfire in the state's history. Another member lost part of her home.

Gary Moore, the men's head volleyball coach at Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, Va., since Oct. 1, 2012, has been released from employment at EMU as of June 18, 2013.
