IMPORTANT Assembly Announcement!
If you are arriving Thursday, June 9 for the synod assembly -
Jackson Center will be open 1:00-9:00 p.m. on Thursday for housing registration. If you will be arriving after 9:00 p.m. please contact the synod office today. Please know you will still need to register for the assembly on Friday.

Stay cool - 
The weather forecast says HOT summer days for Friday and Saturday. Housing is full so if you have non-air conditioned housing please consider bringing a fan. 
Assembly Registration
Please call the synod office with any registration questions, 507-637-3904. We will be available until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Tomorrow afternoon the synod office will be packing and traveling to St. Peter. 

Registration will begin Friday, June 10 at 8:00 a.m. in the Lund Center at Gustavus College. NEW Location this year! 
Assembly Materials 
Assembly materials can be found online by clicking here.

Visit the assembly webpage for all materials. Purchased pre-assembly packets were mailed earlier last week to the address given at registration. All documents in the pre-assembly packet are available online to download and print. Printed copies will be limited at the assembly.

Assembly Offerings
Please make all offering checks payable to: SW MN Synod.

This year the assembly offering will be designated to the following:
House of Grace, Montrose (25%)
Lutheran Immigration Refugee Service (25%)
SW MN Synod Local Mission Partners (50%)
(Campus Ministry, Minnesota Council Churches, Lutheran Advocacy-Minnesota, Luther Seminary, and Shalom Hill Farm)

Congregations are encouraged to contribute $1 per baptized member for this offering.

We will also be doing our annual ELCA World Hunger offering.

If you need to mail a check to the synod office for either of these offerings, please send your donations by July 29, 2016, so that the gifts may be disbursed in a timely manner. Note in the memo line Assembly Offering or World Hunger. Your generosity for these ministries is truly appreciated.
