Important information on Forms A and C

Many congregations are currently having annual meetings. They are times to "look back" and report God's Mission activity associated with your congregation.  Annual meetings also offer opportunity to "look ahead" and celebrate God's plans for 2016.  This is GLORIOUS work!  Your congregation information is shared with our SW MN Synod and your ELCA Churchwide expression in stories told but especially through the data that is collected from  Congregation Report Forms A and C.

Both Forms A and C are due by February 15th. Please remember that no late data received can be included in the current year's computer-generated summary reports.

New changes made this year!
Reporting Form A has two major changes: 
  1. Congregational Vitality: Questions 17 and 18 on Form A are about "Congregational Vitality." Before filling out Form A these 15 questions should be filled out by a group (e.g. council, congregational meeting attendees, worship attendees). This will also be helpful on Form C to answer question #40.

  2. Mission Support for 2016:  Mission Support shared in 2015 is on Form A. However, there is no longer a place for Intended Mission Support for 2016. Please see the instructions below for sharing this information with your SW MN Synod office.    
How to register your Mission Support Intent amount:
  1. Choose a contact person from your congregation to register the amount.
  2. Click here. Or the link can be found at  www.swmnelca.org, under the Quick Links.
  3. Register the proposed amount you believe will be approved at your annual meeting.
  4. Contact the synod office (507) 637-3904 if your proposed amount should change or just submit your amount again by using the link above. We will use the most recent amount submitted for our data.
