We are excited to invite you to your 2015 Synod Assembly!

Once again being held on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus in

St. Peter, MN, your assembly will open on Friday, June 12 and close on Sunday, June 14, 2015. We are blessed to have Revered Dr. James Mauney of the Virginia Synod as our Bible Study leader this year. Secretary William Chris Boerger will be in attendance to guide our voting members through our synod bishop election. (Click here for more information about the bishop election.) Additionally, Secretary Boerger will brief us on what it means to be church together beyond our synod. Bishop Buthelezi, Southeastern Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Southern Africa, will also be one of our guest speakers. It is a blessing to have Bishop Buthelezi in our midst to bring us up to date on our companion synod.

 

ASSEMBLY REGISTRATION
Assembly registration opens tomorrow, March 20!

Registration is online only.

 

The registration information sheet will assist you in registering members of your congregation for the assembly and paying the appropriate fees.


Save Money! 

There are two ways your congregation can save significant monies. First, when you register your voting members prior to May 15 you save $50 per registration. Registrations received after May 15 will be charged the regular rate. Additionally, if you register a young adult under the age of 35 you will receive $50 off his/her registration.

Display policy change - 

Our Synod Assembly Planning Team has decided to open up our display area to for-profit vendors. However, we are giving first priority to our shared ministry partners and our synod boards and committees until midnight on April 24. Register and pay for your display space to ensure your spot. 

 

If you are a for-profit vendor and would like to be considered for a display at the synod assembly please read through the display policy and fill out the online request form. Approvals will be done April 25.
