On February 22, conferences of the Southwestern Minnesota Synod, ELCA nominated six pastors for the office of synod bishop. Nominations are now closed.

The bishop election will take place at our synod assembly, June 12-14, 2015, at Gustavus
Adolphus College in St Peter, MN.

Information about the nominees has been distributed electronically, is on our synod website, and will be mailed to our congregations in the coming days. Members of the synod will have an opportunity to hear nominees speak at four bishop nominee forums, listed on the left-hand side.

The forums are open to the public.
