Assembly Materials
The pre-assembly book will be available online for download on May 16. We will begin mailing pre-assembly books to congregations on May 16 to those who purchased the pre-assembly book while registering. Be sure to visit the assembly webpage to get the most up to date information.
Assembly Offerings
Your financial offering has been designated to Luther Seminary and The Evangelical Lutheran church in Southern Africa - South Eastern Diocese for education. Congregations are encouraged to contribute $1 per baptized member for this offering. Please send your gifts along with your voting members to the assembly.
If you need to mail a check to the synod office, please note that this offering opportunity will close July 31, 2014, so that the gifts may be disbursed in a timely manner. Your generosity for these ministries is truly appreciated.
Assembly Lay-Led Service
We invite pastors/worship planners to create a worship bulletin using their familiar Service of the Word format in local context along with Bishop Jon's sermon, suggested videos, hymns (others if desired) and prayer of the day.
